Burn recreation, ouch! (Not for the squeamish)

                                     Burn using Gelatine

To create an effective burn mark, little details are quite important. Using dark and light red grease paints / blood will help it look like there are deep wounds within the burn, and the gelatine gives it a blistered, fresh, shiny burn look on the skin.

When preparing the gelatine it's important to work fast with it once you've mixed it with water as it dries very quickly, and will be impossible to work with! Apply it to the skin quickly and use a hair dryer or let it dry naturally before adding colour / blood.

You can also add a little pink or red colouring to the gelatine when you're mixing it, to give it a slight pinky / skin coloured look. I decided not to add any colour to mine before hand and just added colour afterwards.

Here's the final outcome of my burn, looks sore! If you're squeamish, prepare yourself!

Ouchie!
